[ubuntu-za] Is 16.04 slow?

Hi All

Does anyone experiencing the latest LTS as slow and cumbersome?

All releases since 12.04 have never been fine but now Chrome keeps on
freezing and I have to do a hard reboot.

Anyone else experience this?
