Is it even necessary to install the reader? I also installed the
64bit reader on Kubuntu 16.04.1 and noticed the password popup when
opening the PDF from ABSA on Firefox, so I uninstalled the reader
with 'aptitude purge striata-reader-amd64' and even after a reboot
can still open statements. I didn't check before installing the reader.
