You can buy a PC easily enough without an OS, but laptops are another thing
altogether. Dell advertise laptops with Ubuntu on their South African
website, but when you try to order one, they refuse to supply it:--
"We have feedback from Dell and unfortunately pre-built Ubuntu PC's are not
available to the South African market."
There are loads of companies out there who will build you a PC to your
specifications, including OS, though.
