[ubuntu-za] Ubuntu packaging questions

Hi All,

I realise this probably isn't the ideal place to be asking these questions
but I am trying to get this package to target Ubuntu users too.

Are there any debian package maintainers in this group that would a) be
willing to guide me a bit in packaging a patching application. b) Possibly
sponsor the application to be added to the debian upstream repos.

In addition to that, I have been playing around a bit with launchpad and I
am battling to upload the package with the same name and version but built
for different Ubuntu versions. Is there a way of doing that without
changing the package name or version?

If anyone is interested in looking at what I have done or willing to give
any advise please feel free.
