Dear Ubuntu ZW Community.

I';ve had a look at the ubuntu repository server this morning... theres
definitely a hardware issue with it....

i have the machine here at my office now to try and see exactly what the
problem is, however, at this point in time...
i think we'll need to organise a new machine....

for now, i will speak to the guys at yoafrica (mark kalweit) to see if they
are able to organise another machine for us to use.
if not, then i will let everyone know on this list, as we might need to
raise one within the community.

Just to give you an idea, the machine is a second hand dell that came from
enet, it currently has 256 sd-ram,
and a 1gh celeron socket 478 cpu. this is very old equipment, and i think
its a good time to upgrade in any case.

for now, the server is out of action until further notice. I am working on
getting it sorted out ASAP, however, i cant
give a time frame right now.

As soon as i know more, i will let you all know.
