I agree with James,
The cause is great and your hearts are in the right place... but in order
to defeat your enemy.. you have to know your enemy... You guys seem to be
underestimating windows....

Little word of advice.... DONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a new ASUS X61S with 16 inch monitor, 320Gig Hard drive , Core 2
DUO, 4 Gig ram, 4570 ATI Radeon 512 Graphics card, and a free windows 7
upgrade option... I have been using windows 7 for almost 3 months now... and
all i have to say is if you think its going to be easy to unsit windows...
you are mistaken...  Windows 7 is by far the best windows dist. ever....

I am pretty much anti windows/microsoft... but i give credit where credit is
due...

When David went against Goliath in the bible... He knew he was going against
a GIANT!!!! The only way you can conquer your giant is
by acknowledging its presence and dominance... Windows can be replaced.. but
it is going to take time...

Lets focus on making ubuntu better... coz as it stands... alot of people
would rather pay for windows 7 than download a free  copy of ubuntu... i
wonder why that is?

I assure you... windows is not ripping people off... people are willingly
paying microsoft for a product that you are offering for free.... look at it
from the end users perspective... not the UBUNTU LOCO TEAM PERSPECTIVE....

UBUNTU is great... no doubt... but at the moment................ NOT greater
than Windows 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! getting there.... but not there yet...
