I beleive another gaming platform simliar to wine is
/Cedega/ <http://www.transgaming.com/>
Commercial re-implementation of the Windows API for Linux with a focus
on gaming. Similar to (and a derivative of) WINE.

Have heard some really good reviews about it, unfortunately it's not
free but if you can justify paying for games this shouldn't be a problem.
