Yes, with scim's inclusion in ubuntu-desktop for dapper, this bug
becomes much more visible.

However it's obviously an upstream issue, and I don't have the expertise
to rewrite the UI.  If anyone can write a patch, though, I'll be very
happy to test and forward it to upstream for discussion.
