Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: davfs2
in 7.10 I could mount a work webDAV folder on my system using davfs2. I
use a local proxy. Although I have used the same config files and set
up, it will not work in 8.10. Instead I get a backtrace and memory dump
when I try to mount. I tried installing 8.04 on another computer to try
davfs2 on it, but got an error message when installing davfs2 "I wasn't
able to locate a file for the libneon26 package. This might mean you
need to manually fix this package. (due to missing arch)" So I don't
know if this was working in 8.04.
I am using Kubuntu 8.10 and the davfs2 package is 1.3.3-1ubuntu1.
Normally, with a proxy configured in /etc/davfs2/davfs2.conf, when I
mounted the folder, I should have gotten first a question about the
username to use with the proxy server. But that question never came.
Instead I was asked for the username and then the password for the
webDAV server. Upon hitting enter after the password I get the backtrace
and memory dump mentioned above.
** Affects: davfs2 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
