I have Xubuntu 8.10 with all updates up to 12/12/2008.

I followed: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/X2xHowto

X2X works great! except for Clipboard sharing, I tried terminal to
terminal copy/paste , firefox to firefox - no effect.

Clipboard is not shared, in both directions.
