Reporting the bug to Ubuntu's launchpad is definitely the right way to
start off. However, in order to increase the chances that the right
person will look at the bug, we usually report it to upstream as well,
then use the "Also affects distribution/package" to link to that bug
report. That way both the Ubuntu and the upstream bud can be tracked
using this page at Launchpad.

The bug is not closed before a fix is available in the Ubuntu cups-pdf
package.
