[Bug 308897] [NEW] new firefox windows take up entire screen

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

This bug only occurs when using Compiz (when using Metacity there are no
problems).  Also, this problem occurs even with a clean Compiz
configuration.

When opening a new Firefox window (either on Firefox startup or just a
new window), it takes up the entire screen, even cutting off the panels,
etc.  The only way to fix the size is to use F11 to fullscreen it and
then press F11 again to un-fullscreen it.  I attached a screenshot.

I am using a fully updated Ibex.
