Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: desmume

After installing desmume from the repo's, trying to launch the program fails.
When using the cli to start desmume, I get the following error:

j at Brutus:~$ desmume
Nbr of joysticks: 1

Joystick 0 Logitech Logitech RumblePad 2 USB
Axes: 6
Buttons: 12
Trackballs: 0
Hats: 0

The program 'desmume' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'GLXBadContext'.
  (Details: serial 301 error_code 180 request_code 162 minor_code 5)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
j at Brutus:~$

NOTE: I do have compiz activated when I get that error. If I deactivate compiz and try again, I get a similar (though not quite identical) error:

j at Brutus:~$ desmume
Nbr of joysticks: 1

Joystick 0 Logitech Logitech RumblePad 2 USB
Axes: 6
Buttons: 12
Trackballs: 0
Hats: 0

I use Intrepid AMD64.
