[Bug 299253] [NEW] wxMaxima no longer showing 'pretty' formulae

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: wxmaxima

I believe that in Hardy, wxMaxima was correctly showing formula as per
the SF.net screenshots: with mathematical expressions rendered using TeX
or equivalent, such that integral signs appeared, and fractions were
drawn with solid lines, etc.

As of the update to Intrepid, my installation of wxMaxima seems to have
reverted to plain ascii rendering.
