[Bug 299267] [NEW] no pose package for 8.10 for amd64

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pose

Running Ubuntu 8.10 for amd64.

Attempted to install and run "pose" but found it only existed for i386.
Attempted to build with "apt-get --build source pose" but came up with
problems.

Googling found this suggestion at http://himdel.blogspot.com/2008/10
/pose-palm-emulator-for-amd64-debian.html but that's way too complicated
for me.

How can I get this program working?
