[Bug 299349] [NEW] dolphin does not show updated contents of the directory

Kubuntu 8.10 with all upgrades

Perform some operation in dolphin which changes the contents of the
directory (my favorite example: open two panels in dolphin and copy some
files from one to the other but it seems there are more operations of
this type for which the bug occurs) and the contents of the directory
does not update automatically (F5 is necessary).

This is highly confusing to the user who thinks that the operation did
not succeed.
