Try to import date data with format DD/MM/YYYY and Glom import in a different format.
Samples:
28/08/2008 ---> 28/08/1908
09/09/2008 ---> 09/09/1920
08/09/2008 ---> 09/08/1920
03/09/2008 ---> 09/03/1920
