Check-Log Sylpheed:
Xubuntu-Version: 8.10
Sylpheed version: 2.4.8, installed 2008-11-18
Opened with Alt-F2
Tool >> Adressbook >> Tool >> Import CSV-File
Select file... this is, what it looks like:
"Alfred", "Neumann", "a.neumann at klappstuhl.de"
"Jochen", "Zapperdockel", "jochen.zapperdockel at chaos.de"
choose "comma separated" >> next
Display says:
Alfred = First Name
"Neumann" = Last Name
"a.neumann at klappstuhl.de = Display Name
I choose Next, 2 records are imported. The former e-mail-adresses are
displayed as Name.
--> Same as in Gutsy.
Now I delete the entries and do a new import with the same file.
Display says:
Alfred = First Name
"Neumann" = Last Name
"a.neumann at klappstuhl.de = Display Name
Nick Name, E-Mail Adress and Remarks are empty. I select the line
"E-Mail-Adress" and press two times "Up".
I say "Next, 2 records are imported.
I click "Close" .... and the program dies instantly, just as with Gutsy.
Regards,
Eremit
