[Bug 299883] [NEW] There should be an update-grub2 manpage

This is the update-grub manpage as it shows after grub2 install.

$ man update-grub

       update-grub [OPTION]

DESCRIPTION
       Generate /boot/grub/grub.cfg

              print the version information and exit

       -y     ignored for compatibility

It is part of grub-pc package and it shows up as

/usr/share/man/man8/update-grub.8.gz

Also doing update-grub doesn't give much information about the options.

~$ update-grub --help
Usage: /usr/sbin/update-grub [OPTION]
Generate /boot/grub/grub.cfg

  -h, --help              print this message and exit
  -v, --version           print the version information and exit
  -y                      ignored for compatibility


Now if one looks at the manpage at Debian then get some good information

* now the "update-grub" page is more about the "/etc/default/grub"
variables rather than the update-grub script. That's a bit confusing.

There should ideally be an update-grub2 manpage which has the manpage as
given by debian and a manpage of grub1.
