In svn trunk and the 1.8 branch, the dialog now shows a label with this
text:
"
Note that the source file should contain numbers and dates in international ISO format. For instance, 22nd November 2008 should be 2008-11-22.
"
I think that closes this bug. Supporting other date formats would be an
additional feature - a patch would be welcome.
