Update:
Hidden status works in MSN, but not in gtalk or YM.

Steps to duplicate the issue:
Launch Empathy.
Wait for it to connect to MSN, gtalk and YM.
Set status to Hidden. If connected to MSN, it will stay Hidden.
Click on Edit then go to Personal Information.
If Account selected is MSN, status says Hidden.
Change account to gtalk or YM, the status will say Busy.
