I have this similar crash several times a day.

HP G7000 laptop, crash happens when I touch the touchpad and try to move
the cursor. Caps lock light starts to blink and the computer no longer
responds to anything. It happened several times when I booted with the
LiveCD and moved the cursor (Compiz is not installed by default?).
