A bit late but I will reply :

Resolution, rate, or other parameter expected
-I want to have 800x480 which is the native resolution written on the box

Resolutions, rates, or other parameters actually obtained :
- calibrate utility always put me in 1152x854. gnome-display-properties allows me to choose between 640x480,800x600,1024x768,1152x864,1360x768
