[Bug 353294] [NEW] 2D acceleration is not working as it should

The bare minimum information required for debugging a nouveau bug
is /var/log/Xorg.0.log and dmesg output.

For many cards, nouveau has excellent 2d acceleration support, but this
varies by chipset generation, and for recent cards (nv5x+ - Geforce 8/9
cards) acceleration requires the use of an XRENDER based compositing
manager, such as xcompmgr, kwin4, or metacity's compositor before EXA
and Xv will work at all. Another cause of no accel is failure for the
drm module to be built / wrong drm version.

These details will be in your Xorg.0.log and/or dmesg :)
