Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cpufrequtils

I'm not sure if this is the right package to file this bug with, but here's the problem:
I've noticed that after unplugging, then replugging my laptop back in, the cpu frequency will be stuck at 800Mhz. Occasionally, plugging and replugging it a few times will resolve the problem, but not always.
I've tried using cpufreq-set, as well as 'echo -n 2201000 > scaling_max_freq', but the value of scaling_max_freq continues to be stuck at 800000. I definitely don't remember having this problem before upgrading to jaunty.
I'm also confused as to why the cpufreq is being altered when I unplug in the first place. As far as I know, I don't have anything configured to do this.

Please let me know if there's anything additional info I can provide.
Thank you.
