[Bug 356788] [NEW] xchat source package doesn't build on intrepid

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xchat

On a fairly newly installed intrepid:

apt-get source xchat
apt-get build-dep xchat
cd xchat-2.8.6
dpkg-buildpackage

will fail with:

In file included from fe-gtk.c:48:
xtext.h:273: error: expected ‘=’, ‘,’, ‘;’, ‘asm’ or ‘__attribute__’ before ‘gtk_xtext_get_type’
fe-gtk.c: In function ‘fe_ctrl_gui’:
fe-gtk.c:786: warning: implicit declaration of function ‘setup_apply_real’
fe-gtk.c: In function ‘try_browser’:
fe-gtk.c:925: warning: passing argument 1 of ‘xchat_execv’ from incompatible pointer type
make[4]: *** [fe-gtk.o] Error 1
make[4]: Leaving directory `/home/akkana/outsrc/xchat-intrepid/xchat-2.8.6/src/fe-gtk'

This apparently has been fixed for jaunty:
http://package-import.ubuntu.com/x/xchat/jaunty/annotate/head%3A/debian/patches/60_gtktype_removal.dpatch
but is broken in intrepid. (Thanks dtchen for finding that for me!)

** Affects: xchat (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
