I have the same problem with Sugar gui. I'm using Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04
beta and I have installed sugar and sugar-activities packages.

Starting the sugar-emulator opens a window with just a black screen.
When I tried to change the GDM session to sugar I noticed following
problems:

- The first time I logged in I got the dialog to enter my name and choose the color of the stickman. After that everything got stuck.
- After this every time I try to login the computer just gets stuck in to a white screen and a dialog opens telling me about an error and that more details can be found from .xsession-errors -file. Only restarting GDM helps when this happens.
