[Bug 43752] Re: sendmail spews out error messages at boot

Confirming on Ubuntu 8.10 (x86_64). Also the command line "mail" (to
send an email) takes a long time to complete, though the mail gets
delivered eventually.

Is there any workaround or configuration change found yet?
