Thank you for reporting this bug. Is the tearing present irrespective if
you have desktop effects enabled or not? (System -> Preferences ->
Appearance -> Visual effects). When you say "anything that has
movement", does that also involve things like moving windows around on
the desktop?

Also, I always like to have screen shots of visual bugs, so I would
appreciate that if you can upload that.
