Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ndisgtk

Note: This bug can only be reproduced in Jaunty Jackalope (9.04).
Note: I'm using the latest version of ndisgtk (0.8.4-1)
Note: This has happened since the first few alphas but haven't got round to reporting it until now

I install ndisgtk (using Synaptic Package Manager) so I can install my
Windows wireless driver but a dialogue appears stating "Unable to see if
hardware is present." yet once I close the dialogue box, it says it
detects my hardware and wireless driver.

The wireless driver works fine once installed, and this message still
appears anyway.

** Affects: ndisgtk (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Tags: connection connectivity drivers laptop ndisgtk wireless
