Konversarion is a kde 3 application . May be that's why Julian is having the issue.
Though it seems that
Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy" seems to fix the freeze issue, it brings its own trouble. CAN any one please tell what 
Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy" does ?
