[Bug 362530] [NEW] Plugins no longer available, refreshing list has no effect

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-do

I assume this happened when I upgraded to Jaunty, but I'm not 100% sure.
Now, gnome-do no longer has any plugins available. Whether set to show
Official or All plugins, the refresh button does nothing. It doesn't
give any errors either, just nothing happens. I do not have gnome-do-
plugins installed, because 1. I don't want to install evolution, and 2.
I want to be able to download the latest plugin versions and not have to
worry about them conflicting with a locally-installed copy. It looks
like there are efforts to try to remove the plugin repository, so
perhaps this is now the intended behaviour? This seems like a really
bad move to me, for the reasons I mentioned above. I believe it would
be better to implement a system like Firefox's, which will check for new
compatible plugins upon upgrading.

** Affects: gnome-do (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
