[Bug 363192] Re: sqlite3 packaged in Jaunty cannot open databases which use "indexed" keyword, and is therefore incompatible with Axiom

Glyph: I'm not actually likely to deal with this myself and am therefore
not the right person to discuss with upstream (though I entirely agree
that it makes sense to do so rather than doing an amateur job): I'm not
a database expert by any stretch of the imagination. I am a member of
the release team, though, and am merely advising on how best to get
changes past our stable update review process (which is justifiably
strict on importing wholesale updates from upstream). If and only if the
changes between 3.6.10 and 3.6.12 are absolutely minimal bug-fix-only
changes, then we could consider that as a stable update; otherwise we'll
need to backport changes. Every upstream always tells us to just use
their most current release but it isn't always necessarily quite the
right answer - we often have to look at things in more detail. :-)

Savvas: I recommend leaving this bug alone until it's been dealt with
properly.
