** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd

On startup the system boots into the low-graphics mode:

(EE) RADEONHD(0): RHDHdmiInit: unknown HDMI output type
(EE) RADEONHD(0): RandR: No valid modes. Disabling RandR support.
(EE) RADEONHD(0): Failed to detect a connected monitor

After sigkilling X and restarting gdm everything is working just fine.
Maybe i2c is not ready on startup?
