Thank you for attaching the necessary information. Since this is an
upgrade, there may have been stuff left in xorg.conf from then, so
please upload this so we can verify that this is not the case. You may
also verify that renaming xorg.conf does not change anything.

For the sake of reproducing this, does this happen in gnome, KDE org
both? Also, screenshots of display corruptions are always appreciated if
you are able to get it.
