Good, I am glad it help.

I think it is related to the performance of the video card driver 
though, because my laptop is still not very responsive and xorg is using 
a lot of cpu. How is it working on your machine. I believe you might 
have the same video card, Intel 855GM. Do you have the same kind of 
problems on your system?
