** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: firestarter

  problem: checking off preferences > advanced options > block traffic
  from reserved addresses on public interfaces blocks some websites

  to re-create

  install firestarter
  set policy in advanced to "block traffic from reserved addresses on
  public interfaces"
  browse to www.twitpic.com

  it won't load

  uncheck this option and browse again
  it will load

  this is true for other random sites, not sure why?
  firestarter sometimes shows an event in the log, other times it does
  not but still blocks the site

  release of ubuntu:  8.10
+
+ note: with the release of 9.04 this problem is resolved, thanks
