Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: seahorse
1. Open Seahorse (Accessories > Password and Encryption Keys).
2. Right click on any PGP key, choose Properties. Click on 'Change Passphrase'.
3. Enter any incorrect passphrase three times. After this, Seahorse password dialog will no longer be displayed.
4. Click on 'Change Passphrase' again. A 'Password' dialog box will be generated, but won't get focus. Click on its taskbar entry to give it focus.
5. Start typing a passphrase - incorrect or correct.
6. Seahorse, password dialog box stops responding. If you have 'Force Quit' button in panel, clicking on it doesn't work. Start gnome-system-monitor to kill the process, and you won't be able to scroll the list. Start a terminal, and you won't be able to type anything. Click on username in notification area to shutdown, and the menu won't be shown. Whole system stops responding. Minimise any other currently running application, then try to maximise them again - you won't be able to. Trying to right click taskbar entry to close an application doesn't show the context menu either.
7. The only thing you _can_ do is to kill using the power switch. I'd tried Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, didnt work.
So entering wrong passphrases in Seahorse locks up the whole system.
Checked in Ubuntu 8.10, but may exist in 9.04 too.
