I just tried the liferea 1.5.15 release (built from source) and I still
see the same performance problems. So 1.6 is not likely to help. It
would be very nice if the performance improvements (whatever they are)
could get in before the Koala window closes, otherwise it'll be a full
year where liferea is basically unusable on Ubuntu. :(
