Public bug reported:
I'm using 9.10, Karmic Koala.
Using Firestarter 1.0.3, it is behaving very strangely. First of all, I noticed that when I start it and choose to minimize it to the panel, it's in a black square. I cannot get rid of the black. I've tried stopping it and restarting, etc. I have installed 9.10 twice now, and both times it has done this - also when I switched to a new user account. Then, wondering if something else is wrong, I tried opening it twice. It opens twice, in fact it opens three times, four times, etc . Every time it will be minimized to the panel in a black square. When using ps -e | grep firestarter, they will just pile up there. In the picture I have, I have 5 open for an example, but it's just any amount. When I receive a notification, they all light up and work in the panel at once. I have attached my ps -e | grep firestarter output and the panel in a screenshot.
** Affects: firestarter (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
