Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: open-vm-tools
I'm installed karmic inside VMware fusion, and install open-vm-tools
using synaptic from the default repositories. The program vmware-user,
which is needed for dynamic resizing of the VM screen, did not start
during bootup/login. I found it has a runtime dependency on
libproc-3.2.7.so, but Karmic ships with libproc-3.2.8.so.
Adding a symbolic link: 'ln -s libproc-3.2.8.so libproc-3.2.7.so'
fixes the problem.
