What version of VirtualBox/VirtualBox Guest Additions are you using?

VirtualBox: 3.0.4 r50677

When does the X sever crash (only once/sporadical/frequently/at a
specific point)?

Always

Please also attach the VirtualBox log file (Main Window: Machine -> Show
Log).
