[Bug 412908] [NEW] Kernel 2.6.31-1.1 does not work with Radeon graphics driver

Public bug reported:

System boots fine, I can access everything via tty login, but graphics
freezes with green stripes down the screen.

See attached screenshot and my Xorg.0.log file for more details.
