[Bug 492669] [NEW] openbox + gnome, 2 monitors, the primary screen gets moved to the second monitor

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openbox

In Intrepid and Karmic, every time I use an external monitor on my
laptop, the icons and files I have on my desktop get moved to the
second/right monitor. The top and bottom panels stay on the primary/left
monitor.

This only happens when I use openbox as the window manager, metacity is
fine.

I dont know if this is a bug with openbox or gnome or something else.

This happens on my laptop with intel gfx, and latest updates as of  Tue
Nov 10 14:54:29 UTC 2009, 2.6.31-15-generic.
