Binary package hint: firefox-webdeveloper

I've got Lucid Lynx dev installed on a thinkpad x31.

tried to install firefox-webdeveloper extension through syanptic,  OS
went through the motions, no errors reported, but on restart of
application firefox, no sign of webdeveloper extension.

went to mozilla site, selected webdeveloper from list, clicked install,
installed, restarted firefox, webdeveloper working ok.

** Affects: webdeveloper (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
