Manny,

When I don't want people taking over the packages I uploaded last I
specifically add comments on MoM. So in this case it is not an issue at
all. There are fewer contributors working on java packages than
C/C++/Python etc. So I am always happy if other contributors work on
these packages.

Ideally imagej should switch to launcher script based on java-wrappers.
It greatly simplifies runtime detection, setting classpath etc. I will
log a separate bug for this in Debian (most probably with a patch).
