[Bug 310236] Re: crash on starting new game

Thank you for your help, but I believe the problem now lies with x.org and my radeon 9250 card which is no longer supported in the new x.org release bundled with 9.10.
A wiki page with help for the lost tribe of radeon users would have been useful, but the link for the sad 9250 users to revert back to to the old x.org is broken.
I have reverted back to 8.10 and all is well. There is hope on the horizon however and I'll be monitoring the news of ATI and x.org with a hope this issue will be fixed.
