Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kplayer
I realize that Kubuntu focuses on Dragon Player for most video, however,
it does not allow me to open a list of files to play as a playlist,
which is why I use KPlayer instead.
When I upgraded my system from 9.04 to 9.10 (using the automatic upgrade
feature in KPackageKit) everything seemed to work fine. Since then,
I've noticed 2 main problems, one in KMail (removing blank lines from
sent email messages) and in KPlayer (toolbars missing, although it still
plays videos fine).
According to the KPlayer troubleshooting guide:
=====================================================
Common problems
Most commands on the menu and on the toolbar are missing
The kplayerui.rc file was misplaced during installation, and KPlayer cannot find it. If you installed using a binary package, complain to the package maintainer.

Thank you.
