Public bug reported:
When installing rubygems1.8 (which is rubygems 1.3.5) on Karmic "http://gemcutter.org" is NOT a source of gems by default.
It should be a default source starting from version 1.3.5. This also prevents the "gem tumble" command (which is the standard way of adding GemCutter as an source of gems) from working, because it was deprecated in version 1.3.5.
** Affects: libgems-ruby (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
