[Bug 486521] Re: login manager will only let login with "Failsafe GNOME"

The "five reboot" thing didn't work for me.

However, I logged in by failsafe, then disabled all startup applications
and I was able to login normally. I then systematically re-enabled the
startup applications one by one. The ones that hung up the startup were
third party apps:

eeepc-restore
eeepc-tray

from the following packages:

eeepc-acpi-utilities
eeepc-tray

I've removed them from my system and I am able to log in.
